Did you know that God is not waiting for us to pray before He starts to work?

It’s not like He’s saying, “Hey church, if you don’t pray, I can’t do anything.”

The fact is that God is always “up to something”. He’s purposely been out-working His redemptive plan, a plan that’s been underway since day one, way back in the garden. In fact, before the garden.

He’s busy wooing people back to Him.  He’s already working on your neighbour, or friend, or lost family member.  He’s actively in the community we walk through every day, and, guess what – He’s in places we wouldn’t even dare to go into.

Phil 1:6

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Rom 8:28

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Job 34:20 MSG

…we know God is working behind the scenes.

Before we get on our knees and begin to pray, God has already been working in the back scenes of lives for months or even years.  He’s been busy at work, regardless of who sees it.

Here is a valid question worth pondering over…

“God what are you doing, and how can I be a part of it?”
